Leveraging our team's expertise and background with applied physics and defense contracting, we developed an IP portfolio for Perriquest Defense Research Enterprises LLC related to critical defense research, some of which is subject to secrecy orders. We have developed and patented critical defense technology including laser defense eyewear, atomic hydrogen energy sources, plasma engines, rotating detonation engines, RF electromagnetic reflection control technology, aircraft counter measures, and plasma assisted combustion technology.
Laser protection eyewear: To combat the significant dangers lasers pose to aircraft pilots, their passengers, and the public, we developed advanced laser protection eyewear technology that offers significant user protection from common industrial and medical laser products without compromising useability and safety. This technology combines multilayer interference coatings engineered to provide significant attenuation (≥20 dB) at key laser wavelengths and spectrally selective filtering to preserve and enhance color discrimination and visual acuity - all incorporated into discreet and ergonomic lenses. This technology is covered by patents: US9,645,414, US9,829,724, US10,895,761, US11644690, US11934046, UP3411734, and GB3411734.
Plasma engines: We developed plasma engines where atomic species ions are extracted from a plasma source with an electric field and then either recombined into molecular species or reacted with another gas to generate energy for thrust. This technology is covered by patents US11,510,307, US12,035,454, and others to be granted soon.
RF electromagnetic reflection controller: We developed a reflection controller for modifying electromagnetic reflections from a surface and reducing retro-reflection of incident radiation. This technology is covered by patent US9,484,624.
